Are you committed to finding a cure for Parkinson’s and helping those who live with the disease?
We need you. Apply to the People with Parkinson’s Advisory Council (PPAC) of the Parkinson’s Foundation by Monday, December 19.
Who are we? A group of people with Parkinson’s and care partners who serve as advisors to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
We work with one common goal: a world without Parkinson’s.
In August, the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation and the National Parkinson Foundation merged to form the Parkinson’s Foundation. We are seeking advisors to help us kick off a new and exciting era!
Here’s how our group serves the Parkinson’s Foundation:
- We guide the Parkinson’s Foundation programs to end Parkinson’s and improve the lives of those living with the disease, serving as the collective voice of patients.
- We represent the Parkinson’s Foundation, whether interacting with our communities, government, industry, hospitals or research institutions.
- We take action. We identify and prioritize needs, educate the community, raise awareness and support research to find a cure.
- We give our time and resources. We recruit others to help end PD.
Will you help too? If you are a person with Parkinson’s or a care partner passionate about serving, consider applying by Monday, December 19.
You’ll be a valued part of the team. The Parkinson’s Foundation knows that our goal of working #Together4PD starts with you.
If any of this feels right to you, please apply today.
